Greetings from Pastor Tammy

Tammy Blom

Pastor

Thank you for exploring the ministry and mission of Heyward St UMC. We are a church located right in the middle of a neighborhood. We value knowing our neighbors and host communitywide events such as Late Summer Ice Cream Socials in our courtyard, a quarterly faith-based book club, and Christmas Music Concerts featuring secular, sacred, and traditional music. We believe being a good neighbor includes caring for those who are vulnerable. We support local helping agencies as well as partner with Welcome Table, Koala Pantry, and Salkehatchie Summer Camps. We worship and serve together and we always believe there is room for one more.
